Hi

About Orangeville Ribfest

ORANGEVILLE RIBFEST

The first Orangeville Rotary Ribfest took place on the 3rd weekend of July in 2010.  That first year our attendance was 9600 and we raised about ten thousand dollars.  For the last three years, attendance has grown to 20,000+ and we have raised over $250,000.  Since its inception, Rotary has raised over half a million dollars at the Orangeville Ribfest!  All funds raised at Ribfest support Rotary projects and services right here in the community like the splashpad in Fendley Park, the Rotary gazebo on the Island Lake Trail, the Rotary Way bike route, the exciting intergenerational GrandPals program, Community Living Dufferin, the Orangeville Food Bank, the Rotary pavilion at Headwaters Health Care Centre, and of course the new natural playground at the Island Lake Conservation Area.

In 2019, our male Ribfest hog was joined by a female partner, and a contest was held to name the two Ribfest mascots.  The selected names are Harv-ee and Su-ee, and we hope they will be joining us for many more years to come!

In an effort to maintain a safe, clean, and fun-filled family event, the Orangeville Rotary Ribfest has a no pets policy.  Service animals are welcome but, sorry, no pets are allowed.
